- Construction costs are very reasonable compared to North America or Europe. However, costs have risen due to increased demand for building permits and higher prices of commodities like oil. Presently, average but reliable construction should cost around $65 per square foot, with luxury turn key finished homes costing around $85 per square foot. It is always possible to spend more or less depending on finishings. However, we find many builders offer unrealistic, cheaper prices and cannot deliver on their commitment. It's important to fully understand what you're getting with a builder's bid and ONLY work with a reputable company that has a solid track record. We are happy to point our clients in the right direction, but it is ultimately your choice to decide who will build your home.
